Implementing Integration

Do -It-Yourself Integration:

  • This method involves just one teacher, but that teacher intentionally brings in other subject area components into their instruction

Team-Teach-It Integration:

  •     Partner with another teacher to incorporate various subjects into their instruction and cover the same theme or skill
  •     Teachers must have same group of students in order for this to be successful

Multi-discipline Integration:

  • As a school, form divisional teams to help create a fully integrated curriculum plans
  • The team will base their individual lessons to fit in closely with the lessons of their colleagues
